James Graham, C.F.A.
Jim is a partner with Dallas-based Endurance Capital and provides strategic consulting services to companies in life sciences and biomedicine. He started his career in the West Coast office of Alex.Brown and worked at Biogen Idec before moving to the Boston office of McKinsey as a member of the firm’s Pharmaceutical and Medical Products practice. In 2009, Jim joined Sante Ventures, a life sciences venture capital firm based in Austin. Jim holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences with Honors from Stanford, an S.M. in Biomedical Sciences from the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology and an M.B.A. from MIT Sloan. Jim also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Brian is the President and Managing Director of LGC’s Genomics Division. He has over a decade of life science tools experience having worked for Life Technologies, Merck Millipore, PerkinElmer, and now LGC. He has extensive experience in the genomics and NGS space with fast growth businesses and turnaround situations. Prior to life sciences, he was a management consultant for a decade. Brian is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in history and a B.S.E. from the Wharton School. He also earned an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
Christopher Mueller, Ph.D. – Chairman
Chris is the founder and visionary behind Lab7. Prior to Lab7, Chris led the RNA sequencing informatics group at Life Technologies, developing in-house sequencing analysis tools and advising senior management on sequencing informatics strategy. He has worked in commercial and academic environments, developing software for scientific and Web apps and has successfully launched proprietary and open source applications. He holds a B.S. from Notre Dame and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Indiana University.
